The A440Hz Western "Standard Pitch" and Equal Temperament pitch-pipes, organs, and pianos utilized at home and in our Lodges, according to my research and findings, is not the most appropriate for spiritual work. Even the frequencies listed alongside the keys of the piano in AMORC's Cosmic Keyboard chart are not at all the frequencies of this modern "Standard."
There is much debate this day and age about this "Standard," as opposed to alternatives, namely the A432Hz pitch utilized by the Anthroposophists. However there is far more to the bigger picture than those unfamiliar with music or physics are likely able to grasp.
Equal Temperament is only necessary for keyboards and fretted string instruments, and perpetually out-of-tune; this one of the reasons "rock" and other modern "pop" music sounds so horrible to the classically trained, and older music aficionados. A432Hz tuning pitch is simply a compromise for those who insist on utilizing such instruments.
The C=1Hz Scientific Pitch and Pythagorean Fifths Temperament is known to be far more accurate to our natural resonances, and correlative to the Cosmic Keyboard and the Law of Octaves.
The pulsing intervals created by the chords are relative to our brainwave frequencies, and can be observed easily in the physical reactions of individuals when experiencing different types of music. The negative effects of A440Hz "Standard" Pitch and Equal Temperament ore obvious when considering the lyrical content, physical movements, and psychological and social behaviors that accompany them.
A set of tone-chimes is on display at Rosicrucian Park in San Jose, CA, which demonstrates these frequencies, but only the a C-major scale. I will be producing a full chromatic Pythagorean set of tone chimes, or "glockenspiel," cut and filed by hand with the utmost precision. I will add the recordings as soon as it is completed, but until then, below are the 12 notes (and next octave C) as sine waves.
